Youth Group

David and I have been working with our youth group at church for about 10 months now. Just recently the youth Pastor felt from the Lord to relocate. We were asked if we would like to take over as the youth Pastors. They also wanted us to know there was no pressure to say yes since they know we have little kids and maybe the timing might not be right for us, but they asked us to pray about it over the course of the week. David and I have been seeking the Lord on what to do. We haven't heard the Lord say a definite yes or no, but we feel like there is grace to make the decision either way. Which makes it hard. We know that if the Lord wants us to do it that he will strengthen us and provide his grace when we need it to take on such an awesome responsibility. David and I don't take this request lightly. These are lives that need direction and love and we have been asked to work along side of there parents to do so. We don't want to make a commitment and not be able to follow through with it 100%. These teenagers deserve that. I guess I am sharing because we covet your prayers as we embark on this journey. This is very exciting for us and a little scary. We fear the Lord in this because of how important we find this request to be. I think we are gonna say yes, but it would be nice if the Lord would give us a definite yes or no by tomorrow. I know He like us to make decisions and trust him to see us through, but it definitely makes it easier when he just gives us the answer:):):)

My Music men...

Back in February I said I would post some pictures of Noah playing his drums. I am just getting to it now. Sorry for the wait:). Both Noah and Dawson enjoy playing instruments while Caleb is my singer and dancer so I will have have to get a video of him and post that later. For now here are some of Dawson , Noah, and Daddy. My favorite musicians!!

Burst of energy

It has been a long time since I have felt well enough to go out of the house. Yesterday, however, I woke up feeling great. No sickness, I felt well rested, and ready to take on the day. It was gorgeous out and decided it would be fun to take Sadie, and Dawson on a walk up to the big boys school and show their new baby sister off to their classmates. David quickly jump into the mix, excited that I felt well enough to do something:). The boys were happy to show Sadie to their teachers and friends and then we headed home. We decided then, that it would be fun to go on another outing and take the kids to the mall to play at the play place and get them some ice cream. The big boys have been so patient and understanding about the new baby being here and that mommy is busy feeding her alot, so they deserved some fun. It was a blessing to be able to enjoy my children and husband and feel so healthy doing so. I am thankful to the Lord for just touching me and blessing me with a healthy delivery and amazing recovery. He is so Faithful!!

Here are some cute pictures from our day out!

Carpe Somnum

Sadie doesn't sleep at night. In fact, she seems to be unconscious for almost the entire day, only waking for a few snacks. But once night comes along, she wants to eat and keep on eating. I'm up some helping Sarah with things, then I have to get up early with the boys. Sarah has been trying to sleep during the day some while Sadie sleeps.

I have been taking care of the boys during the day since I'm on, um, paternity vacation, and they are quite energetic. I have to take the sleep while I can get it. We all got a decent nap today, for which I am very thankful.

I wish I could get up with Sadie at night some so Sarah can get some sleep, but I don't have man-boobs. I'm not sure they work anyway.

Sadie Pictures

Sadie just a few hours after birth. She was in the nursery with an IV to help her blood sugar levels.

Sadie just born

Sadie had a mild case of jaundice because of a large bruise she got during delivery, so they put her under the lights.

She looks more natural here with her pink hat.

Sadie in the hospital room.

Caleb is very excited to have a new baby around. As soon as he saw her, he said "Caleb's turn to hold you."

Caleb holding newborn Sadie for the first time.

Mommy was feeding the baby and explaining to Caleb about how she eats. Caleb pulled up his shirt and said "Caleb's turn."

Sadie Danielle :)

She's here!!!!!!!! Sadie was born June 1st, 2007 at 8:55am. She weighed 5lbs 8oz. The doctors did a work up on her and found she was only 34 weeks along instead of 36 so she was really preemie. We are very excited and thankful to the Lord for her health. She is doing excellent. We came home today (June 5th) . I am working on some pictures, but as you all know, things have been a tad busy. I just wanted to give the update! She here, She's really here!!!!!!!!!!
